JAMMU, Nov 19: A Guest Lecture on the theme “Employment Opportunities in Industries and Commerce” organized by Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), University of Jammu was held here today.
The lecture was organized by CDOE under Industry-Academia Lecture Series for their distance learners.
The event was organized under the able guidance of Prof. Pankaj Kumar Srivastava, Director of CDOE, University of Jammu.
The lecture commenced with formal welcome address by Dr. Sumeet Kour, the coordinator of the event. She welcomed the worthy Guest Speaker, Anudeep Kaur, Financial Advisor/CAO, Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Jammu.
Dr. Sumeet highlighted the importance of understanding market trends, developing key competencies, and leveraging innovative practices to thrive in diverse professional environments.
She inspired the students to explore emerging opportunities, embrace continuous learning, and align their aspirations with the dynamic needs of industries and commerce and also emphasised the need for learners and job seekers to remain agile, continually update their skills and understand the shifting dynamics of the job market.
In an interactive question and answer session, students asked a range of questions on employment opportunities available in industries, gaining actionable advice from the guest speaker.
Prof. Sandeep Kour Tandon, Director CIQA, CDOE, University of Jammu honoured the guest speaker with a token of appreciation.
