JAMMU, Nov 19: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Bishnah area have arrested an individual who was evading his arrest for the past 4 years.
Deepak Kumar of Tanda, Tehsil RS Pura, District Jammu, was wanted in case FIR number 176/2020 under Section 379 of the IPC registered at Police Station Bishnah, said a police official.
An arrest warrant was also issued against the accused by the court of law, he said.
Today, a team of Police Station Bishnah, led by SHO Insp. Sushil Choudhary under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura and SP Headquarters succeeded in arresting the absconder, who will be produced before the court of law for deciding the future course of action, added the police official.
