MENDHAR, May 7: An Army jawan of the Artillery unit located in Mendhar sub sector of Poonch was seriously injured in his unit this morning.
Reports said soldier Amit Kumar, from 97 Arty Regiment received serious injuries under mysterious circumstances. The Unit officers claimed that jawan slipped in the bathroom and received serious head injury and one deep cut on his arm. He was provided treatment at the local Army Unit Hospital and later, airlifted to Command Hospital Udhampur. No further details were available from the Army side.
