JAMMU, Nov 21: A spiritual discourse titled “Kriya Yoga Meditation as a Remedy for Stress, Worry, and Anxiety” organised by Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), was held here today.
The discourse was organised in association with the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS).
The event, based on the teachings of the revered spiritual teacher Paramahansa Yogananda, drew an enthusiastic audience eager to explore the life-changing benefits of Kriya Yoga.
A lecture was delivered by Swami Smaranananda Giri, the Vice President of YSS of India.
In his address, Swami Smaranananda Giri offered profound insights into the transformative power of Kriya Yoga, emphasizing its ability to harmonize the body, mind and soul.
“Kriya Yoga is a powerful tool for cultivating inner strength and peace. It provides practical methods for overcoming anxiety, worry and stress while deepening one’s connection to the divine. Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings offer a comprehensive framework for individuals to realize their highest potential and experience true spiritual freedom,” he said.
By promoting the practice of Kriya Yoga, YSS aims to provide practical solutions to the mental and emotional challenges faced by people today, while also helping them forge a deeper connection to their inner selves and the divine.
