Sham kick-starts development works worth Rs 95.10 lakhs

JAMMU, Nov 21: Fulfilling his commitment for providing better infrastructure development and public welfare, Sham Lal Sharma, MLA Jammu North today laid the foundation stones for two significant development projects in Ward No. 38, Janipura.
These projects, aimed at addressing the long-pending demands of the residents, include the construction of lanes and drains at Sultanpura and Nasseb Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs 35.10 lakhs and at Basant Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs 60 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said, “The projects launched today were the burning demands of the people in these areas. My commitment to the residents of Jammu North is unwavering and I will continue to work tirelessly to improve infrastructure and bring more development to the region.”
“Under the stewardship of the Prime Minister, India is scaling new heights of development. Tremendous progress is visible across all sectors and segments, and various mega projects initiated across the country will lead us into a new era of growth and prosperity,” he added.
Among others who were present during the function included Mandal President (B.J.P Janipur Mandal) – Raveesh Mengi, ex. Councillor Ward No. 38, Surinder Sharma , Xen JMC Nawaz Banday, AEE JMC Hilal Wani, JE JMC Ranjan Sharma and Mandal General Secretary Sanjay Bhat.
