VIJAYPUR, Nov 21: MLA Vijaypur, Chander Parkash Ganga today kickstarted the construction work of drain at Panchayat Salmeri.
The work was started in the presence of DDC Chairman Keshav Sharma and DDC Member Vijaypur-A Sudershan Singh.
Total cost of the project is Rs 14 lakh and it will solve the problem of drainage from of the surroundings.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganga said, “These were some of the pending issues of the panchayat, which are ultimately solved with coordination of the concerned authorities. I congratulate the people of the area, who were facing problems due to non-availability of drainage facility in their area.”
The MLA instructed the authentication to prioritize the quality of work with proper sloping, so that the area should get drainage properly.
Among others who were present during the function included Jai Ram Sharma, BJP District Gen Secy Amit Dubey, BJP Block President Ajay Kumar, Sarpanch Sandhoor Singh and BJYM District V. President Dheeraj Sharma.
