KISHTWAR, Nov 21: A lady and her son were injured here today in Kiru area on Paddar-Kishtwar road after the car they both were onboard was hit by another car bearing registration number JK17-8658.
Both mother and her son got serious injuries in the accident and locals of the area along with cops shifted them to District Hospital from where both were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for specialised treatment.
The injured were identified as Iqra Begum, wife of Mohammad Imran and Shahim Hussain, son of Mohammad Imran.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
Meanwhile, non-availability of ambulance at Kiru triggered protest among the locals who raised slogans against the health authorities.
