JAMMU, Nov 22: Presiding Officer Fast Track Court Sudhir Khajuria today rejected the pre-arrest bail application of a PSI, who was booked by the Police Station Bahu Fort in alleged rape case.
After hearing APP Rohini Manhas for the UT, court observed, “anticipatory bail is meant for a person, who is apprehending his arrest on the basis of unjust grounds and not for a person who himself is a member of law enforcement agency and whose adherence to law has to be more stringent”.
“Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, the present application deserves no consideration and the same is dismissed”, the court ordered.
