Jammu, Nov 24: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday said that the ideals and vision of Sant Kabir represent universal values enshrined in our culture.
“Sant Kabir’s divine verse also reflects on various social issues and challenges and advocated women empowerment and upliftment of weavers, farmers, and other disadvantaged sections,” Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said while attending ‘Satsang Samagam’ organised by All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha in the Bishnah area of Jammu.
Speaking about the rich contribution of Sant Kabir to society, Sinha said, “his vision and ideals represent the universal values enshrined in our culture.”
“His emphasis on inner search and social reform will continue to inspire every Indian and future generation,” he added.
