RAJOURI, Nov 24: An elderly man was knocked to death by a biker in Nowshera area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that one Naveen Kumar (25), resident of Chowki village in Nowshera, while driving motorcycle hit 55-years-old, Madan Lal, son of Ranga Ram, resident of Dandesar village in Nowshera on Sunday. The bike went out of control and over turned on the road, causing injuries to both of them.
They were shifted to SDH Nowshera where doctors provided preliminary treatment and then referred them to GMC Jammu. Condition of Madan Lal deteriorated on the way and he was taken to Sunderbani Hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Later, injured Naveen was admitted to GMC Jammu.
SDPO Nowshera, Jaswant Singh said that a case has been registered in this connection.
