LEH, Nov 27, 2024: The Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, attended a felicitation function at Shenam Community Hall to honor Padma Dolkar, the recipient of the prestigious Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar Award.
The event was attended by Councillor Phunstog Nurboo; President, DCC Leh Rigzen Namgyal; Padmashree Morup Namgyal; Padmashree Tsering Namgyal; President, Ladakh Theatre Organisation, Mipham Otsal; Dorjey Stakmo; Goba of Wanla village; artists; as well as relatives and friends of Padma Dolkar and other prominent personalities.
The Hon’ble CEC congratulated Padma Dolkar, her family, and friends on her remarkable achievement and extended his best wishes for her future endeavors.
He emphasized that the youth of Ladakh have immense potential to represent the region at the national level. He added that Padma Dolkar serves as an inspiration for the young people of Ladakh to excel in their chosen fields.
Adv. Tashi Gyalson reiterated the commitment of LAHDC Leh to support Padma Dolkar and other talented individuals, fostering their growth and helping them achieve success in their respective domains.
During the ceremony, the Hon’ble CEC and other dignitaries felicitated Padma Dolkar and participated in a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate her achievement.
Padma Dolkar, while addressing the gathering, spoke about her journey leading to the Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar Award. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her mentors for their guidance and support.
