Pasha accuses NC-Cong for giving raw deal to Ladakh

KARGIL, Nov 27: Amidst the ongoing discussions surrounding budget allocations and district status in Ladakh, Hassan Pasha, BJP State media secretary for UT Ladakh has totally refuted the allegations and accused the NC-Congress coalition of giving a raw deal to Ladakh region.

Talking to reporters here, today, Hassan Pasha while referring to a recent press conference at the Council Secretariat here, where representatives from major political and religious organizations expressed concerns about the exclusion of Sankoo and Shakar-Chiktan from the new district announcements. He said “I understand the sentiments of the people and would like to assure them that we are committed to addressing their concerns of people of Ladakh”.
He said “We believe that the budget allocations should be fair and equitable, ensuring that all regions of Ladakh receive adequate funding for development projects,. Furthermore, we are committed to resolving the district status issue in a manner that benefits the people of Ladakh”, he added.
Pasha said BJP Government will continue to engage with stakeholders, including local leaders, civil society organizations, and the general public, to ensure that their concerns are heard and addressed.
He said his party is committed to the development and prosperity of Ladakh, and it will work tirelessly to ensure that the region receives the attention and resources it deserves.
He on the basis of statistical data said that the funds allocation for the region increased many fold since the Narendra Modi Government took over at centre in 2014 and after the Ladakh was made a UT in 2019 the region made a tremendous progress so far as infrastructural development is concerned.
