SRINAGAR, Nov 27: Police in Anantnag today attached property worth Rs 2 crore under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Authorities stated that in Srigufwara, police seized a double-storied residential house along with one kanal of land.
The property, police said, belongs to Mohammad Amin Malik, son of Ghulam Rasool Malik, a resident of Kanalwan.
According to police, Malik is a habitual offender involved in case FIR No. 113/2021 at Police Station Srigufwara, during which a substantial quantity of narcotic substances was recovered.
“This decisive action underscores the unwavering commitment of J&K Police to eradicate the drug menace and dismantle the infrastructure supporting narcotics trafficking,” authorities added.
