SRINAGAR : Two minor students were drowned in a water body in the city outskirts, official sources said here today.
They said two students Sharik and Irfan had left from their Chattabal house for C B M High School, Balgarden this morning. However, instead of going there, they went to Narbal in the city outskirts for swimming in a water body. However, both the students were drowned, they said adding some elderly persons present in the area also jumped into the water body but could not save them.
A massive search has been launched to recover their bodies, they said. (AGENCIES)
