JASROTA, Nov 29: Swami Ram Swarup Yogacharya of Ved Mandir Yol today delivered Vedic sermons at the residence of BJP MLA Rajiv Jasrotia in Jasrota during a religious function.
Highlighting the teachings of Vedas, Swami Ram Swarup Yogachayra emphasized their universal applicability and called for following Vedic principles to foster universal brotherhood, irrespective of caste, colour, or creed.
He stated that Vedic knowledge emanates directly from God and urged for its inclusion in school and university curricula to strengthen the nation’s future.
He conducted a havan and yagna during the event, where hundreds of devotees received blessings.
He also sang spiritual songs and delivered teachings from Vedas and other scriptures.
MLA Rajiv Jasrotia praised Swami Ram Swarup Yogacharya’s dedication to spreading Vedic knowledge since 1971, which includes conducting thousands of yagnas and delivering spiritual teachings across India and abroad, including the USA and Southeast Asia.
He said, Swami Ram Swarup’s Ved Mandir has been organizing yagnas regularly, offering free boarding and lodging for attendees.
Jasrotia also highlighted his (Swami Ram Swarup’s) commitment to promoting Vedic culture and eradicating societal evils through his teachings and yoga education.
