Chilli, turmeric weaken on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, May 10:  Red chilli and turmeric prices dropped by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today owing to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks.
Red chilli and turmeric prices declined by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 7,900-11,900 and Rs 8,100-12,300 per quintal, respectively.
Marketmen said sluggish demand from retailers and stockists against sufficient stocks mainly pulled down chilli and turmeric prices on the wholesale kirana market here.
