JKMEF holds dharna, submits memorandum to CMO

SAMBA, May 10: Jammu &  Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) held one-day dharna today at Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office here today.
The medical employees assembled in the premises of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Officer under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president, JKMEF.
The protesting employees raised slogans in favour of their demands and urged the Government to redress their issues at the earliest.
The speakers expressed concern on the part of authorities for not fulfilling the genuine demands of the employees and for adopting callous attitude towards the employees.
Later, the employees submitted a memorandum to Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Samba highlighting their demands including clearance of DPC, release of salary, rank promotions of FMPHWs, creation of posts, enhancement of FTA, sanction of uniform allowance, regularization of all pending cases, etc.
