JAMMU, Nov 30: A warm send off was accorded to two retirees during separate events held in Jammu today.
GGM Science College Jammu hosted a farewell ceremony for Dr Vinod Kumar Bakshi, the retiring Physical Director, celebrating his outstanding contributions to the college’s sports and physical education department.
Dr Bakshi’s dedication to fitness, discipline, and teamwork greatly enhanced the college’s sports achievements at regional and national levels, making him a respected figure among students and staff.
Meanwhile, Ramesh Chandra Bhatt, Branch Manager of the Currency Chest Link Office in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, retired after over 35 years of service.
Bhatt, who worked with the first Swadeshi Bank, was honoured by his colleagues for his commitment and diligence throughout his distinguished career.
Both Dr Bakshi and Bhatt were accorded farewell for their immense contributions, leaving lasting legacies in their respective fields.
