JAMMU, May 10: The body of a teenager who went missing on May 2, was today found from a canal in Jourian area.
“The body of a missing boy identified as Manish Choudhary, 17, resident of Purkhoo, Domana, was found from a canal under mysterious circumstances in Bakore area of Jourian near Akhnoor”, police here said.
They said the body has been shifted to the mortuary while the post mortem would be conducted tomorrow to ascertain the cause of death.
“We have already initiated the investigations under relevant Sections but the family is apprehending that the boy has been murdered and they are demanding to register a case of murder”, they added.
The deceased a student of a Government School on May 2, last time called his parents from outside his tuition centre but did not return home.
