Samba, Dec 1: In a significant effort to ensure comprehensive voter participation, the District Election Cell organized a Special Summary Revision (SSR) camp for updating Panchayat electoral rolls at Govt. Middle School Jhang in Ramgarh constituency.
The camp was organised by District Election Cell under SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) Initiative. Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Samba and Susheel Kumar, Secretary, State Election Commission inaugurated the event and interacted with the eligible voters.
The camp aimed to comprehensively review and update voter rolls, ensuring that all eligible voters are correctly enrolled and have the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
Under SVEEP, special focus is given to maximise voter inclusion and electoral participation through systematic roll revision.
Sunil Angral, Dy District Election Officer Samba, BDO Ramgarh and BLOs of Block Ramgarh were also present to resolve any issues faced by enrolling voters and address queries.
