RAMBAN, Dec 1: Nearly 250 needy villagers, including women, children and elderly of Sawani village were provided free treatment and medicines in a day-long free medical camp organized today by 84 Battalion CRPF, under the aegis of Jammu Sector CRPF.
The Camp was inaugurated by N Ranbir Singh (Commandant 84 Bn) in the presence of Assistant Commanders Lakhwinder, R R Meena and Inderjeet Singh, Panch Sawani Vinay Singh, Md Abdul Rasheed (Naib Sarpanch), VDC members and prominent members of the village.
Speaking on the occasion, N Ranbir Singh stated that CRPF, with nearly 250 Battalions deployed across the length and breadth of the country, is actively contributing in nation building process and safeguarding the unity and integrity of the Nation. He also highlighted about the various social outreach programs undertaken by CRPF all over the country to establish better connection between the Force and local populace.
The villagers were examined by Dr Anu Gorke (SMO/DC 84 Battalion). The locals were also provided free medical treatment and medicines during the camp.
