JAMMU, Dec 6: Dr Narinder Singh, MLA Jammu South constituency along with Baldev Singh Billawaria, former Deputy Mayor Jammu kick started the development works in Ward 56 Gangyal. This development work will be done at a cost of about Rs 14 lakhs under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Narinder Singh said that the development work will be completed in a time-bound manner and strict quality control measures will be implemented to ensure the quality work. He said that most of the Ward 56 Gangyal was in a bad condition earlier and the efforts of Baldev Singh Billawaria have played an important role in developing it. He said that Ward 56 is now the cleanest and one of the most developed wards of Jammu city. MLA said that in RS Pura-Jammu South Assembly constituency, the first focus will be on the priority of better lanes and drains along with adequate drinking water facilities, better electricity, medical facilities and basic amenities to the people. He said that development is the mantra of the Modi Government and we are committed to development in Jammu South Assembly constituency.
Narinder Singh said that he would work day and night to make R S Pura-Jammu South Assembly a model Assembly. Former Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria in his address said that the newly elected MLA would soon resolve other development related problems in Gangyal area. Billawaria said that this was the long pending demand of the local residents and now this demand has been fulfilled. He said that lot of development works have been done in this area earlier and the development works which are left will also be done in a phased manner. He said that we will continue to work in the Ward to provide basic facilities to the people. He said that during his tenure he tried to get development works done in every Ward of Jammu city.
On this occasion, BJP district president, Rekha Mahajan urged the party workers to give more momentum to the membership campaign and connect more and more people to the party.
Mandal president, Ranjit Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Ajay Pratap Singh, Raj Kumar, Sohan Singh Katal, Mulkh Raj, Punjab Singh, Subhash Choudhary, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Dr Kuldeep Gupta and other dignitaries were present.
