PSA Rajouri elects new body

RAJOURI, Dec 6: For the smooth function of the association, the elections of Private School Association (PSA) District Rajouri were held here today.
During the elections, newly elected body of PSA took oath of office and were congratulated by various participants.
Abdul Raouf Dar retired Principal, who was elected as district president of PSA was congratulated by the house with the hope that he will take the association to new heights on the basis of his experience which he has gained in various capacities in Education Department.
He was elected unopposed and no form for election to other posts were received as a result of which president was authorised to nominate other office bearers of the association.
Other office bearers nominated included Lokesh Bakshi as Sr Vice president, Kanav Badyal as Vice president , Pervaiz Ahmed as General Secretary and Shezad Ahmed as member.
K K Langer was appointed as chief advisor with Mohammad Javaid (Rtd Jt Director SED), Mohammad Shafi Dar, Prithvi Khoker, Sham Lal, Babu Khan, Ibrar Malik, Bader Ud Din Malik, Shaheryar, Abdul Latief Mirza and Raza Ul Haq were nominated as advisors.
Abdul Raouf Dar in his address highlighted various issues being faced by private schools of district Rajouri and hoped that the newly elected body with the sport of private school community will solve the burning issues at various levels.
He appealed the Zonal presidents and other community members to be united and work for academic excellence of students of private schools and prepare them for future challenges.
