BARAMULLA, Dec 7: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Javid Ahmad Dar, today conducted an extensive tour of Rafiabad constituency.
During his tour, the Minister laid foundation stone for construction of the Ladwa-Siterwan road in Rohama, a key project that will significantly improve connectivity in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said, “The Ladwa-Siterwan road will not only improve access to essential services like healthcare, education and markets but will also boost tourism in the region by providing easier access to the scenic spots in the area, thus contributing to the overall development of Rafiabad.”
Following the foundation stone ceremony, the Minister held a public meeting and took stock of their grievances and issues.
During the interaction, he outlined the Government’s vision for the constituency. He emphasized the Government’s commitment to equitable development and assured the public that ongoing projects would be completed in a timely manner.
Later, the Minister met various delegations, including general public, youth groups and farmers. They raised concerns related to road infrastructure, water supply, power supply and employment opportunities.
The Minister assured them that the Government is committed to addressing these concerns and urged the community to actively engage with Government.
