JAMMU, Dec 14: The Community Service and Social Justice Club of “Utsaah” University of Jammu, in collaboration with The Law School, organized a thought-provoking stage play on anti-ragging with a special focus on protecting Divyangjan at the Amphitheatre.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of ragging and educate students about the legal implications and consequences.
Prof Prakash Anthal, Convener, Utsaah, appreciated the students’ performance and congratulated them for conveying a powerful message against ragging.
The stage play featured a talented team of students from The Law School, including Suhani Sharma, Disha Salaria, Harsh Kumar (5th Sem.), Nitasha Rana, Kanheiya Jalotra, Harsh Kumar (3rd Sem), Mohd Sohil, Prarthana, Vanshika Dhiman, Shaysta Chauhan, Arundev Singh, Urvashi Rajput, Yug Sharma, Shreeja Walia, Tanvi, Bhagirathi, Mohd Saabik and Bhumika.
Dr Nitan Sharma, faculty from The Law School, was the teacher in charge for the event. Dr Shashi Prabha, Co-Coordinator of the Community Service & Social Justice Club, presented the vote of thanks.
The event saw presence of teachers, students and non-teaching staff of the University.
