JAMMU, Dec 14: ICAR-IIFSR, Modipuram organized a four days biennial workshop on AICRP on IFS in collaboration with PAU, Ludhiana.
During this function, FSR Centre of SKUAST-J received best OFR (SCSP) Centre award for the year 2023-24 under the guidance of Vice Chancellor, Dr. B.N Tripathy and Director Research, Dr. S.K Gupta, SKUAST-Jammu.
Moreover, two Appreciation Letters with respect to development of excellent IFS model and its adoption across UT of J&K under HADP Programme for small and marginal farmers of Jammu region was also received by SKUAST-Jammu.
On this occasion, one video (PPCD) and a manual on Crop Diversification with farming system success stories was also released during the workshop and it was contributed by FSR team comprising Dr. N.P Thakur, Chief Scientist, Dr. A.K Gupta, Chief Scientist, OFR, Dr. Vijay Khajuria, Chief Scientist, Dr. Parshotam Kumar, Technical Assistant, Abdul Waheed Katoch, Dheeraj Rajwal, Kuldeep Sharma, Technical Officer, Vikas Koul, Sr. Technician, Naveena, Kanik Bansal and Ritika Gupta.
