JAMMU, Dec 15: BJP National Executive Member, J&K Headquarters in charge and former Minister, Priya Sethi, said that the bi-annual and annual celebrations of Devi/Devta congregations are not just an occasion to pray and seek blessings but it serves many other purposes. They also serve to strengthen bonds.
She said this while serving Langer at Rattan Vans Dev Sthan on the
annual congregation of Rattan Vansh in the premises of Dev Asthan, Sarwal, Jammu.
She was given warm welcome at the Dev Sthan by its president Vinay Kumar, general secretary, Parveen Kumar Rattan, treasurer, Raj Kumar Rattan, Baljit Rattan, Sevadar Charanjit Rattan and Raju Rattan, former VC, Balbir Ram Rattan, former councilor, Dinesh Gupta, senior SC leader Ashok Gandhi, Sangita Gupta and others.
Priya Sethi said that on such occasions people of the community come together to celebrate the annual congregations of their Kul Devta to offer prayers and gratitude for the continuous blessings and guidance bestowed upon their families. “This sacred occasion is a time to reflect on our heritage, strengthen our bonds, and seek the divine protection and prosperity of our loved ones”.
Priya Sethi further said “The grace of our Kul Devta brings peace, health, and happiness to each one of us,. We all should bow before them, pray for unity, harmony, and the well-being of own and the Biradari as well”.
Balbir Ram Rattan, on the occasion said that coming together to celebrate congregation is a privilege, which also provide opportunity to personally meet the dear ones, relatives and members of the Biradari.
Vinay Kumar said that the members of the Biradari throng the Dev Sthan on occasions of congregations, which is indeed a good thing.
Raj Kumar Rattan, on this occasion, shared the social activities of the Rattan Vans Trust
Dinesh Gupta said that the deep respect for our Kul Devta, the traditions and values bring us together on these occasions.
Ashok Gandhi said that the elders in the families should ensure that the young generations remains in touch with their cuture.
