SRINAGAR, May 15: Prof. M.P.S. Ishar, Vice Chancellor, Jammu University, called on Governor, N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University, at Raj Bhavan here today.
Prof. Ishar briefed the Governor about the status of the ongoing teaching and research programmes in the University and about various administrative issues relating to the University. He also apprised the Governor about the progress achieved so far in the implementation of the Choice Based Credit System at the Post Graduate level and other initiatives taken by the University for progressively raising the standards of teaching and research.
