JAMMU, Dec 18: 1st Additional District Judge Jammu Ranbir Singh Jasrotia has passed a decree of recovery of sum of Rs 50 lakh along with requisite interest against Mirpur Biradari through its president Sanjay Gupta and others.
The order has been passed in a civil suit filed by Anil Kumar Gupta, Secretary in the Housing and Urban Development Department mentioning that the dependants (Mirpur Biradari, its president Sanjay Gupta and others) have leveled false and frivolous allegations against the plaintiff (Anil Kumar Gupta).
After considering the pleadings, evidence both documentary and ocular brought on record, 1st Additional District Judge Jammu observed, “in view of the un-rebutted evidence on affidavit and the documentary evidence produced by plaintiff, the plaintiff is held entitled to recover a sum of Rs 50 lakh along with requisite interest with pendentelite and future with costs”.
“A decree of recovery of Rs 50 lakh along with requisite interest is passed in favour of plaintiff and against the defendants”, read the order of 1st Additional District Judge Jammu.
