KULGAM, Dec 21: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal today chaired a crime and security review meeting at the District Police Office (DPO) Kulgam.
The meeting was attended by the ASP Kulgam, ASP NHW Qazigund, all SDPOs, DySP PCs, SHOs, and incharge PPs.
During the meeting, SSP Kulgam emphasized the need for supervisory officers and SHOs to take effective measures to improve the investigation and timely disposal of cases.
He stressed the importance of adopting modern techniques and standard operating procedures to enhance the quality of investigations.
The SSP also highlighted the significance of strengthening the counter-insurgency efforts and security in the respective areas to ensure a peaceful environment.
He directed officers to take strong action against individuals involved in anti-social and anti-national activities.
In addition, SHOs were instructed to focus on human intelligence, area domination, and the attachment of property linked to narcotics and terrorism.
They were also urged to ensure the safety and security of non-local laborers and employees, with close monitoring of such individuals.
All participants were asked to prioritize the issues discussed and take necessary actions to address them effectively.
