JAMMU, Dec 21: At least six persons were injured in separate road accidents in Jammu district today.
A police official said that one Davinder Kumar (54) son of Babu Ram of Ward number 41, near GMC Kathua at present Bakshi Nagar, near Gurudwara Galli, suffered injuries when he was hit by an unknown vehicle at Gurha Morh.
One Priya Devi (19) wife of Vinay Kumar of Bishnah suffered injuries when the bike she was riding on as pillion rider was hit by another bike at Ring Road Bishnah, he said.
A couple identified as Yash Pal (46) son of Rattan Lal and his wife Kamlesh Kumari (46), both residents of Trewa, Arnia, suffered injuries at Simbal Morh when the bike they were riding on was hit by a car, the police official further said.
According to him, two persons identified as Vanshika (19) daughter of Madan Lal of Camp Gole Gujaral and Swarna Devi (50) wife of Subash Chander were injured at Gajansoo when they were hit by a car.
The police official said that all the injured have been taken to Government Medical College Jammu where they are undergoing treatment while as cases under the relevant sections of the law have been registered at the concerned police stations and further investigations taken up.
