Trump picks US billionaire Feinberg as deputy Pentagon chief

WASHINGTON, Dec 23: US President-elect Donald Trump announced the nomination of US billionaire Stephen Feinberg for the post of Deputy Secretary of Defence.
“Stephen Feinberg will serve as Deputy Secretary of Defence, and help Make the Pentagon Great Again,” Trump said on Truth Social.
He added that Feinberg was an “extremely successful” businessman who previously led the intelligence advisory group during the first Trump administration.
Feinberg is the founder and head of the investment company Cerberus Capital Management. His fortune is estimated at $4.8 billion.
Trump also nominated Elbridge “Bridge” Colby as Under Secretary of Defence for Policy.(UNI)
