Police recovers 2 minors

SAMBA, May 17: Samba Police headed by Inspector Ravinder Parihar, SHO P/S Samba recovered two minors (boys) from Mansar Morh while on patrolling. In the first instance, both the minors namely Paras Pangotra S/o Ved Raj R/o Dablehar, R.S. Pura and Gurjeet Singh S/o Ranjeet Singh R/o Dablehar, R. S. Pura, students of 6th Class of Deva Memorial, Hr. Sec. School, Dablehar, R. S. Pura, claimed that after giving some intoxication they were kidnapped by some unknown persons in a vehicle alongwith their bicycle while they were going to school this morning. The two boys further stated that when they reached near Mansar Morh, the kidnappers fled away after dropping them there as they raised hue and cry on becoming conscious. To ascertain the truth, medical examination of both the boys was got conducted at District Hospital Samba in which no such intoxicant was detected. Thereafter, parents of both the children were called in Police Station Samba.
Parents of Gurjeet Singh S/o Ranjeet Singh R/o Dablehar, R.S. Pura stated that their relatives are residing at Swankha Morh, Vijaypur and Gurjeet Singh usually visits there on every Sunday and this time he came in advance on Saturday but without intimating them and also brought the other boy with him. Both the boys broke down during further questioning and narrated that they have bunked the school and reached near Mansar Morh, Samba on their own. After completing legal formalities both the children were handed over to their legal heirs.
This instance has shown careless attitude of parents / guardians which could have easily been converted into crime. Accordingly, District Police Samba headed by Anil Magotra, SP Samba has appealed all the parents/ guardians to keep watch over the activities of their children to avoid such incidents in future.
