JAMMU, May 17: An induction program for 2nd year B.Ed students of January 2013 session was organized by the IGNOU study centre (1204P) in the Government College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu.
Principal of the college Dr Kaushal Samotra inaugurated the programme and interacted with the students. Prof C L Shivgotra, the Programme Incharge, discussed in length about the course structure and motivated the students for attending this PCP with full enthusiasm, discipline and positive attitude.
A detailed schedule of counseling was also discussed and students were directed to come for counseling sessions on scheduled dates. It was also announced by the coordinator that workshop activities will be commencing from June 17, 2014. They were asked to come in routine in the counseling sessions and get all possible academic guidance by the Academic Counselors.
Those who attended the induction program, included Prof Zubair, Prof Raj Singh Narania, Prof Deep Bangotra and other faculty member of the college along with the student participants.
