JAMMU, Dec 23: To provide healthcare to the underprivileged, Helping Hands Jammu, in collaboration with renowned Urologist Dr Ravinder Singh Ghai (Associate Professor and HoD Urology, ASCOMS, Sidhra) organized a free urology medical camp at Guru Nanak Mission Hospital.
The camp provided free consultations, free medicines and free diagnostic tests to over 200 patients, ensuring they received essential medical attention. The event was graced by Dr Jasbir Singh, Director of Guru Nanak Mission Hospital, who extended his support and expertise to the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ravinder Singh Ghai said, “Patients from this camp who require surgical intervention will have their surgeries performed free of cost under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.”
Sourav Sharma, founder of Helping Hands Jammu, said, “Our mission is to bring healthcare to underprivileged areas and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Initiatives like these are possible only because of the support of dedicated individuals like Dr Ravinder Singh Ghai and institutions like Guru Nanak Mission Hospital.”
The collective efforts of Jasbir Kumar (Tony), Paras Sawhney, Rakshit Bhal, Kashish Gupta, Kusam Lata, Mohd Haseeb and Jai Karan Bali ensured smooth execution of the camp.
