UDHAMPUR, May 18: A teenaged youth today attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his house in Shiv Nagar, Udhampur.
Identified as Dushyant Singh (17) son of Kalyan Singh of Mongri, presently putting up at Shiv Nagar Udhampur, the youth was found lying unconscious in his room. The family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained.
