JAMMU : Two shepherds, who, inadvertently sneaked into the Indian Territory have been repatriated to the Pakistan, in Poonch district.
The two were sent back by Army troops today via Chakkan-da-Bagh on Line of Control in Poonch district.
“The Army troops yesterday apprehended the duo when they inadvertently crossed over to this side of the border in Keri Sector of Poonch,” defence spokesman here said.
He said Indian Army on humanitarian ground and goodwill gesture returned these two individuals after ascertaining their identities to Pakistan Army this afternoon at Chakkan-da-Bagh.
“The persons repatriated have been identified as Mohammad Shabir and Maulavi Said,” said the spokesman. (AGENCIES)
