JAMMU, Jan 7: All J&K Satguru Kabir Sabha here today elected Shamsher Chand as Sabha president unopposed.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Puri, former president of the Sabha said, “Exceptional leadership skills, vision and dedication to work makes Chand a perfect candidate to drive the Sabha forward in achieving the desired goals.”
A handout stated that Sabha under the leadership of Shamsher Chand will form many small units in different villages which will be connected with the Core Committee for the Sabha.
“I will contribute to my best ability for the success of Sabha,” said Chand adding, “I am confident that my background of social works will enable me to drive the organization towards the mission.”
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Mahesh Puri, Joginder Bhagat, Suresh Kumar, Raj Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Vipin Kumar.
