RAJOURI, Jan 7: In a disturbing incident, an attendant accompanying a patient at the emergency ward of Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri was brutally assaulted by a group of individuals, late this evening.
The entire episode was captured on CCTV, shedding light on the shocking events that unfolded within the hospital premises.
According to reports, Rahil Gupta (32), son of Sham Sunder, a resident of Jawahar Nagar, was allegedly assaulted at his medical shop by AD Singh and his father Netar Singh of Dalore, Rajouri. The trio separately got themselves admitted at GMC Hospital Rajouri,
Later, brother of Rahil Gupta, who came to know about alleged assault on the latter, reached GMC and attacked A D Singh as well as Netar Singh.
Sources confirmed that the local police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated an investigation into the case.
