JAMMU, May 22: A young businessman of Reasi today committed suicide by hanging himself at his house, here today.
The deceased, identified as Rajesh Gandotra (42), son of late Som Raj Gandotra and proprietor of Vaishno Dhaba at Reasi Bus Stand, was found hanging with ceiling fan hook in a room of his house at Ward No. 4 in Reasi.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
Reports said that the deceased Rajesh Gandotra reached Reasi from Jammu this morning and straightway went to his Vaishno Dhaba. In the afternoon, he left for home and purchased a nylon rope from market enroute.
After some time, the family members spotted his body hanging with the ceiling fan hook. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased was kin of the proprietor of Nav Durga Sweets in Jammu. Police has registered a case in this connection for investigations.
