JAMMU, Jan 9: Pawan Mantoo, Liaison Officer with Daily Excelsior breathed his last at New Delhi Airport, today after a cardiac arrest. He was 45. He is survived by his wife, two sons ,Nihar and Vivan and old-aged parents.
His cremation will take place at Bantalab Cremation Ground tomorrow at 11am.
The Daily Excelsior staff held a condolence meeting today under the chairmanship of Kamal Rohmetra, Editor In Chief in which profound grief and sorrow was expressed over the sudden demise of Mantoo. The meeting termed him a great and dedicated staff member and recalled his services to the organisation. It also observed two minutes silence in the memory of departed soul and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. The meeting expressed its deepest sympathy with the bereaved family at this hour of grief and sorrow and said his demise is a great loss to the organisation.
