Shiv Sena launches website to help unemployed youth

JAMMU, Jan 9: In a programme here today, Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit launched its website www.shivsenajk.in regarding placement, complaints and assistance facilities for unemployed youth and others.
Talking to reporters on this occasion, Shiv Sena J&K chief, Manish Sahni said that increasing unemployment in J&K is a matter of deep concern.
“Today we are next to Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands in terms of unemployment,” he maintained adding: “The total unemployment rate of J&K has reached 11.8 per cent.”
The Shiv Sena leader also claimed that according to the data of July-September quarter of 2024, 32 per cent of the youth between 15 to 29 years are unemployed.
He said that the launch of website will work to curb unemployment to a large extent.
“The needs of corporate sector and industry will be fulfilled through the applications received and this facility will be completely free,” Sahni further said making an appeal to the youth to talk about the website to other people also through social media so that more and more people can take advantage of this.
Meenakshi Chhibber, Bharat Mahajan, Vikas Bakshi, Balwant Singh, Raj Singh, Sanjeev Kohli, Rajesh Jandial and Rohan Malwal were also present on this occasion.
