JAMMU, Jan 11: The two-day live painting workshop hosted by IIT Jammu and conducted by acclaimed artist K.K Gandhi concluded here.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty and staff members, offering them an immersive experience in the world of art.
Gandhi, a celebrated artist known for his exceptional contributions in the field of fine arts, guided the participants through the creative process of live painting.
The workshop included interactive sessions where participants explored various techniques, mediums and styles under the guidance of Gandhi.
The event aimed to foster creativity, self-expression, and appreciation for art among the IIT Jammu community.
Speaking on the occasion, Gandhi expressed his delight at the enthusiasm shown by the participants and emphasized the importance of integrating art into academic and professional environments to nurture holistic development.
Director IIT Jammu, Prof. Manoj Gaur, in his address, appreciated Gandhi’s efforts in inspiring the participants and highlighted the institution’s commitment to encouraging such multidisciplinary engagements.
The two-day workshop concluded with a display of the participants’ artwork, which received accolades from attendees.
