Azad, CVC call on Governor

SRINAGAR, May 23: Ghulam Nabi Azad, former Chief Minister called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at Raj Bhavan, today.
Mr. Azad and the Governor had an extended discussion on various important socio-economic issues relating to the growth and development of the State.
Kuldeep Khoda, Chief Vigilance Commissioner also called on Mr Vohra.
Mr. Khoda briefed the Governor on the current status of the work being done by the State Vigilance Commission and efforts which are being particularly made to enhance accountability of the administrative apparatus. He also apprised the Governor about the recent steps taken by the State Government to strengthen the Commission’s functioning.
