JAMMU, May 23: Residents of Pacca Talab and adjoining localities of Bahu Fort area held protest demonstration against PDD authorities for imposing long power cuts.
The locals under the banner of Bahu Fort Development Committee assembled at Bahu Fort and started protest under the leadership of Baldev Nagotra. They alleged that a transformer of 6/6 Sub Transmission went out of order about eight months back. It was not repaired so far. The department is now imposing 15-16 power curtailment in this particular area and the public is suffering during these hot summer days. Rajiv Charak, president of the committee also accompanied and spoke on the occasion.
