DODA, May 23: Father of Block Medical Officer (BMO) was crushed to death by a truck in Thathri today.
As per police sources, Ghulam Ali of Thathri, father of BMO Ghat Doda Mushtaq Ahmed came out of the mosque after offering Friday prayers and was hit by a truck.
The profusely bleeding victim was rushed to nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at police station Thathri and manhunt has been launched to nab the truck driver, who escaped from the spot along with the vehicle.
