JAMMU, May 23: Maintaining that the action of JDA in compliance to the court order to evict the encroachers from the State or JDA land is welcome step and the anti encroachment drive must be vigorously enforced and the encroachers be thrown out, VHP State president Leela Karan Sharma however condemned the action of JDA, Director land and police for demolishing pacca houses of the people of a particular community which were constructed on duly purchased land by them purchased under valid sale deeds registered on the basis of the “Fard & Titmas” issued by the Revenue Department.
He said their houses stand on the part of land on Khasra  No 746 Min mutated in ownership in the name of the displaced persons Pishori Lal, Omparkash sons of Anant Ram vide mutation No 1368. The demolition of the houses of Hindus was done only to protect those who have forcibly and illegally occupied the State land. They have displaced some plot holders and demolished their houses which fall in the village Nanadni adjacent to village Gol.
Mr Sharma said as the encroachers are being protected by the politicians and people sitting in the administration, this highhandedness of the administration including JDA is intolerable. Besides, this the JDA has provided some land to the encroachers who are still sitting over the State/JDA land.
While, the owners of the houses belong to a particular community whose houses were demolished by JDA on the land purchased by them, the encroachers were spared.
He said besides him senior VHP leaders also visited the area to listen the plight of these people. They included VHP chief patron Dr Rama Kant Dubey , its general secretary Dr Sham Lal Gupta, Surinder Mohan Aggarwal, and Rajesh Gupta its vice president.
