RAMBAN, Jan 13: On the directions of SSP Ramban, Kulbir Singh, cops here today arrested a bootlegger from Gool area along with illicit liquor.
Cops from Police Station Gool while conducting routine patrolling duty apprehended one Sameer Singh, son of Des Raj, resident of Kabi Gandri, tehsil and district Ramban and recovered 13 bottles (750 ml each) of illicit alcohol from him.
In this regard an FIR with number 03/2025 under Section 48(a) of the Excise Act was registered at Police Station Gool and investigation started.
