“Those criticizing the Government must understand that the current situation in J&K is a result of their actions. Had they acted wisely, things would have been different,” he said.
He further explained that while it is the opposition’s role to criticize, it should be constructive and aimed at development, not negativity.
“The Government has been in power for only a few months, and it takes time to address challenges at hand,” he added.
Nasir also pointed out that the problems J&K faces today are a consequence of decisions made by previous Governments. “Had they been wise, the situation could have been better,” he noted.
In response to a question about the absence of Aga Ruhullah at the tunnel inauguration by the Prime Minister, Nasir clarified that he had prior commitments outside J&K.
Nasir praised Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s presentation of key issues to the Prime Minister, stressing that it is time for the restoration of statehood as promised. “The time has come for the restoration of statehood. We are hopeful that this promise will be fulfilled,” he said. He expressed optimism about the future, noting that J&K has experienced much in recent decades and now is the time for progress and change.
“We hope to see better opportunities for our youth, a flourishing tourism season, and growth in the horticulture sector,” he said.
Advisor added: “J&K has suffered greatly over the past 30-35 years, but I am confident that we will overcome these challenges and put an end to the uncertainty.”
