Mustard recovers on scattered demand

NEW DELHI, May 24:  Mustard oil prices recovered by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on scattered demand from local parties, traders said.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range on little doing and settled around previous levels.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil rose by Rs 50 to Rs 6,650 per quintal.
Following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,050-1,200.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,200, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,260-1,280, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 6,650, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,100-1,150, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,150-1,250, sesame mill delivery 8,900 Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 6,800, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 6,500, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,650, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,100, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,300, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,050,and Coconut (per tin)2,500-2,550.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,600, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,450-9,550, Neem 5,300-5,400.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175. (PTI)
